Built from the ground up through everything I learned from the first version, this release brings a sharper focus on what really matters: the drawing process itself. In Version 2, I have stripped away the unnecessary parts and rebuilt the core so that drawing feels more fluid, responsive, and immediate.
I wanted the tool to metaphorically and disappear to the best of it's ability - to feel less like using software and more like simply drawing, with seamlessness happening automatically in the background. You can sketch anywhere on the canvas and watch your strokes transpose to the seamless tile in real time.
What is new?
- More responsive brush strokes
- Color - adjust brush color, size and opacity
- Brush - image-based brushes with color and opacity control. custom brush to be introduced in the future.
- Navigate - better pinch zoom, three touch pan, gesture rotate canvas to make it easier for drawing. On windows: use alt+left click drag to rotate, shift+left click / middle mouse button drag to pan.
Currently tested: Apple iPad safari on iOS and chrome on windows. Android to be tested. Drop me a note if you found issues running it on your device!
